Children of Heaven - The film that touched my heart( a Perfect example of affection between a brother and a sister )

Monday, May 26, 2008

Today (26th may 2008 ) i was very bored and was scanning channels for a good song or a movie. Then when i was crossing vijay tv i saw the title of film and after that some words written in arabic and i couldn't understand them. And my brother insisted me to stick on to vijay since he is a movie buff .From the starting of the film i paid a good amount of attention to the film. Then i statred loving the scenes in the film .The name of the film was "CHILDREN OF HEAVEN".

Really as the title of the film suggests the two characters ,ali and shara (brother and sister ) in the film are children of heaven. This film reolves around a pair of shoes of shara lost by her brother ali.Their family was poor and they both decide to hide the issue from their parents. The boy didn't tell his dad because h knew that his dad didn't have money and if told about lost shoes then would borrow money. So they hide it.They both use ali's shoe.Shara first goes to school and afterwards ali.The both exchange their shoes in a narrow street whcih is shown in the picture. Its shows their real affection and the effect of poverty on them. This exchange process continues for a quite a long time and in the mean time ali scores good marks and he is awarded with a pen in his school. He gives that pen to sarah. This scene depicts their affection for each other. And finally the boy sees a notice of a athletic meet and notices that third prize was a pair of shoes.and he targets only for 3rd position. While finishing the race he was first and leaves 2 boys before him but unfortunately a third boy pulls him down.so he runs harder and without his notice he comes first. But he was disappointed and feels for that. And in the mean time his father would have brought a two new pair of shoes for both.
This film didn't have many grand sets or artists but this film is very good and a heart touching movie. If you have not seen this movie please do see this movie.

On 22nd of may 2008 my results came and i became a complete engineer. Now i can proudly say that I'm an engineer .On one side i can be happy to be a engineer but the sad thing is that I've learned nothing from engineering ! No practical knowledge and I've just learned how to cheat the examiner by writing the sub-headings and diagrams right and filling the content with my own stories.I wish that anna university changes the system .Lacs of engineers come out every year but its very hard to FIND A REAL ENGINEER .

Herovaa Zerovaa - An excellent piece of work by Jothika, Surya , MAdhavan , VIJAY

Sunday, May 18, 2008

Herovaa Zerovaa , an ad film which features Jothika , Surya , Madhavan , VIJAY which is mainly intended to make children from poor family to go to school.I saw the ad and I'm sure that most of the children who are not going to school will now think of going to school and parents who send their kids to work rather than school will change their mind .Its a excellent move by 's Agaram Foundation in association with Tamilnadu's Education Department to create an educational awareness among children .
First of all Suriya must be appreciated for producing this film and all the other actors who acted in this documentary film.
I'm a great critic of vijay , but i appreciate his willingness to act in this film. This is the first time I've noticed him using his stardom for a good reason.Since these words came from great stars of kollywood , this will make a great impact on children.Hats off to VIJAY and all other actors.

I've spent 4 yrs in engineering environment !! so i think i can give an idea about engineering colleges in tamilnadu for plus 2 ( +2 , 12th students )

This is that time of the year when parents go in search of the best Engineering College for their wards. I feel I can provide some assistance in your quest for a quality college for your children. Myself being an Engineering student who just passed out I hope my thoughts will be valuable to you. I have gone to several engineering colleges across the city to participate in several competitions and symposiums. So I feel I can share my experiences with you.

Let me start with the Jeppiaar institutions. I think every college owned by Jeppiaar has excellent infrastructure facilities. St.Joseph's College is one the best in my view and this college produces a large number of toppers in Anna Univ exams in recent years and also excels in sports. Panimalar is also a beautiful college with outstanding facilities and faculties. They say all Jeppiaar Colleges are strict but you can be completely assured that your ward will get his placement before he completes his degree. The food is exemplary in all his colleges. SSN college of Engineering is undisputedly the first choice college to opt for with excellent academic performance and produces highly successful students. The next college coming to my mind is Crescent Enginerering College. This college has evolved into one of the best in the city. It has a wonderful campus and ideally situated at Vandalur. Campus Placements are very good with almost all the eligible students getting placement. Velamaal Engineering college is another strict college but the quality of education and the number of students getting placement is outstanding. Meenakshi Sundarajan Engineering college is another wonderful college located within the city at Kodambakam and all top companies visit this college. SVCE will always remain one of the top colleges in the city and has continued to excel in all departments. Sairam Engineering College has carved a niche among the top colleges and keeps on improving day by day.

Among the Deemed Universities S.R.M and Sathyabama are the best. The other colleges of S.R.M group like Valliamai and Easwari Engineering college are also good. Some of the other colleges coming to my mind are Jerusalem Engineering college, Hindustan Engineering college and MNM. These are the best colleges in the city according to me to the best of my knowledge. Any college that has not figured in this list might also qualify for the top slot but not in my view. This article is entirely my personal opinion based on my own experiences and not meant to hurt anyone studying in other colleges.

And finally Anand Institute is a worst college ever to join for above average students but its ok for average students.

Your paypal account could be easily stolen by your friends , did u know ?

Monday, May 12, 2008

I decided to check the security of my paypal account and started doing everything to recover my password by some of the means which are available in paypal. When i did so , i gave forgot password option.Let us assume that i know the email id of some other person whose password I'm trying to get.So i type the email id and proceed to next step.which is shown below ,
Then we proceed to next step , It asks us to confirm the account by any of the three means , which are through
1.phone number
2.address
3.email

And you choose phone number option it asks the phone number which you gave at the time of registration. The irony is that it asks the phone number and gives you the last 2 digits.Obviously your friend might be knowing your phone no.

so if he gives it right then he can end up in creating a new password and transfer it to his friend's account whom you don't know and then to his account.finally he'll land in this page
So what can be done to avoid these kinds of password stealing ?
Ans:
1.Don't let your email know to anyone .
2.use a dummy account to transfer account from your account to your friends account. And don't have any balance in that dummy account
3.Don't give correct phone number which you are using or know to your friend, give a imaginary number which you know and make it like a password.

you might ask that if he resets the password then you'll get a password reset alert to your email , but don't forget that it'll take only few minutes to transfer money from one paypal account to the other.

Disclaimer:This post was mainly to help my friends and keeping their account safe.If anyone indulges in using this post for retriving passwords or any illegal activities then will be sutitably punished under law.

lakshmipathy Balaji - The mystery man behind the drama , Balaji takes a hatrick , first hatrick of IPL

Sunday, May 11, 2008

L.Balaji , a cricketer who was famous once suddenly disappeared from international arena. He didn't play well in some matches but due to politics in BCCI he was chucked out.And before a month he was totally forgotten. And when IPL came in he was auctioned by CSK(Chennai super kings). Before politics and now his bad luck had made him not to play till last 3 games.yes he was injured and was desperate to show his ability. And in his 3rd IPL match he destroyed KXI punjab's hope of taking revenge against CSK for their 1st match loss against CSK.Balaji bowled impressively and took the first ever hat rick of IPL.By this performance he sends out a clear message to the selectors of Indian team that he is still capable and young as well as experienced to play for india. And also musharaff will be happy if he comes to know about balaji's hat trick.Since musharaff was a great fan of balaji.
